We offer half and whole custom pork orders once per year. 100% soy free and non-GMO Berkshire pork. Our pork comes from Berkshire pigs that are free to move around, they are happy & get to enjoy the sunshine, native forage, dirt, and clean air.

We currently only raise Berkshire pigs. These pigs are great foragers. and we love that! The Berkshire is a heritage breed with a long history of richness in the pork world. We love this breed for many reasons, but like their gentle nature and sweet personalities. We work hard to perfect a rich, nutrient-dense, and marbled pork product.

Please scroll down for additional information about our pork. $5.00/lb. hanging weight and a $300 deposit for a 1/2 pork, $600 deposit for a whole pork. Customer is responsible for processing fees, not included in the $5.00/lb.

In order to maintain optimal health, our pigs are given a supplemental ration of mixed, fresh whole grains with minerals each day. No hormones are used. They are given grass, alfalfa, and oat hay mix year-round so they get their greens! The “greens” in their diet help our pigs to grow naturally in 8 to 10 months or until they reach approximately 250 lbs. live. Pigs raised on multiple forage options have more vitamin D, selenium (a vital antioxidant), significantly more vitamin E, and more healthful fatty acids than pigs raised on other food sources.


Pastured Pork Deposits & Processing


To start the ordering process, we require a deposit when your pork package is ordered and then the remainder of the balance is due a few days before delivery. Deposits depend on the size of pork you order. A 1/2 Deposit = $300, Whole Deposit = $600. The remaining balance will have the processing fees added to the final invoice.

Some processing requests do cost more money. Cured meat and sausage seasoning do cost extra. Always check with the processor before you request special cuts.

Hanging Weight vs. Packaged/Boxed Weight

Hanging Weight: This is the weight of the butchered animal as it hangs in the locker to dry age. This weight does not include the head, hide, hooves, blood and innards, which have been removed.

Packaged/Boxed Weight: This is the net weight of the meat you will receive that is packaged and ready for your freezer. You will be charged based on the hanging weight. The boxed weight is 60% of the hanging weight.

Example on a 1/2 Pork: Hanging weight is 100 lbs. The packaged meat will be approximately 60% of the 100 lbs., which would give you 60 lbs. of packaged meat/boxed pork.

Example on a Whole Pork: Hanging weight is 200 lbs. The packaged meat will be approximately 60% of the 200 lbs., which would give you 120 lbs. of packaged/boxed pork.
