All of our lamb is pasture raised, grass fed and grass finished. Grass fed lamb has more Omega 3 fatty acids and beta-carotene than the conventional grain fed lamb. It is also a low fat and high protein food.
We specifically raise dorper hair sheep and here is why:
They are a fast growing, meat producing sheep breed that thrives in a variety of grazing conditions.
Dorper sheep are highly regarded as a prime lamb, as they are fast maturing with a high-quality carcass and excellent conformation and fat distribution.
No need for shearing, making them a low maintenance sheep breed.
Their meat is mild flavored, delicate, and delicious.
